2026 and early 2027 tax calendar, reviewed October 2026
Deadlines for Florida small businesses.
Filter by your type of business. The next deadline is highlighted and past ones are faded, on Miami time.
Every month: the Florida sales tax return (DR-15) is due on the 1st and late after the 20th (or the next business day).
A guide, not tax advice. Dates checked in October 2026 against the IRS 2026 tax calendar (Publication 509) and the Florida Department of Revenue. Dates that fall on a weekend move to the next business day.

About the firm
A small firm, on purpose.
We opened on Coral Way for the businesses big firms do not serve well: the family restaurant, the contractor with twelve people, the agency that just grew up. Every client has one named accountant who knows the business by heart.
We work in English and Spanish in every meeting, and we explain the numbers without jargon.
What clients say
Less stress in April.
Concept copy: fictional reviews“For the first time I know what the bakery makes every month, not just when the tax return shows up.”
“They caught us up on 14 months of books without making us feel bad about it.”
“The December planning call saved us the usual surprise.”
Questions
Before you call.
Do I have to switch software?
No. We work in QuickBooks Online or Xero. If you use something else, moving your data over is part of the catch-up.
What if I am months behind?
It is the most common situation we see. We charge a one-time fee per month behind and then move you to the normal monthly price.
Should my LLC be an S corporation?
Sometimes. It depends on profit, a reasonable owner salary and your plans. We run your own numbers on the call.
Do you deal with the IRS for me?
Yes. With a signed power of attorney (Form 2848) we answer IRS and Florida Department of Revenue letters on your behalf.
Can I cancel?
Yes, with 30 days' notice. Your books and files are yours and we hand them over complete.
